I was one of the first my gyno tried the Essure procedure on (a new type of tubal ligation) and he was very interested at my last yearly checkup to know how it was fairing. I felt somewhat guilty to tell him that I hadn't 'tried it out' actually.
But yeah, I guess they have to assume certain things, and it sort of pisses me off to have to admit I haven't even been near enough to a man for anything to matter. I just tell them I'm not sexually active and that's that.
