Voted!

The lines here are insane -- we're talking over three hours. I waited for an hour, but the line was barely moving.

Finally I walked (three blocks) to the front of the line and asked the volunteer if there were any other options, since I had to leave for the airport by 10:00am and couldn't come back tonight since I'd be in Alabama. She was really nice and let me go to the front of the line. Apologies to anyone I might have skipped in front of!

Three hours? Wow! Won't be a lot of people actually doing their work at work today, then!

I think a lot of people will be very late to work.

Sounds like it, yeah!

Wow. I was expecting to be late to work, but in my neighborhood there are a number of smaller polling places so the load was pretty well distributed.

Yay for your poll worker making it happen!

Yeah, here the problem seemed to be the check-in. There were plenty of machines but no one could get to them.

Wow. We didn't have any line here in Chappaqua, really. But that's because my dad and I went in the middle of the day to avoid the crowds.

I'm glad that you got to skip the line!

And damn, I can't wait for this day to be over. I'm so nervous. We need you, Barack Obama!
