Broadway Report
The train got to Penn Station at 2:25pm and I managed to grab some food and still make it to the theater on time on foot. Barely. And somewhat out of breath.
Gypsy was nice. I'm 90% sure that Patti Lupone was having vocal issues, because she was really undersinging some of her songs. She still did a good job, it just wasn't what I was expecting from her.
Rent. God, I love that show. I'm so glad I went back to see it again. Their Maureen, Joanne, and Roger were all excellent. Much better than last year. Mark and Mimi weren't, which was a shame. And of course I cried. *sniffles*

Though I did see the guy who played Algy on Who (Empty child) in Spamalot in the West End this spring.

Though Alan Dale is not a very good Arthur. He's fairly flat.

Not a good Arthur. Algy, on the other hand, is a brilliant Brave Sir Robin. ♥ him.
He was so surprised at the stage door that we knew him. Tried to sneak out after Alan Dale came out and go right home, but we talked to him a bit, and he was happy that someone wanted to talk to HIM.
