Damnit. My roommate is selling the condo. So now I either try to buy a condo or rent or try to find another roommate situation. I know it might take her forever to sell in this market, but just waiting around for 30 days notice is scary.

Anyone looking for a roommate?

Ugh. That sounds incredibly stressful! I hope it works out for you.

Eek, that sucks!

If if I was looking to move that way, I would, but it looks like I'll be heading back to CA soon.

Honey, I would LOVE to move out of the parental place and get something with you but I don't think I make enough money to live around here. :(

Also, rly rly sorry about lack of getting back to you. Srsly bad flu. Thoughts on perhaps going next weekend?

You should think about buying -- not necessarily the one you're living in. It's the right time to be a first time buyer and if you pick a good location, you'll always get your money back if you hang onto it for a couple of years.

Mortgage is an investment, rent isn't.

You can either buy or try to find another roommate situation. With the economy, there possibly might be someone looking for a place to share. Good luck with this. You'll probably have some time though with the market the way it is.

Yikes! Best wishes for it all to work out in the best way possible.
