taffimaiThe train got to Penn Station at 2:25pm and I managed to grab some food and still make it to the theater on time on foot. Barely. And somewhat out of breath.
Gypsy was nice. I'm 90% sure that Patti Lupone was having vocal issues, because she was really undersinging some of her songs. She still did a good job, it just wasn't what I was expecting from her.
Rent. God, I love that show. I'm so glad I went back to see it again. Their Maureen, Joanne, and Roger were all excellent. Much better than last year. Mark and Mimi weren't, which was a shame. And of course I cried. *sniffles*
