So, you know how you can suddenly look around and find yourself waving the banner of a pairing or a fandom with all your might? Well, after last night's Angel, this is me:

[Taffy waves Wes/Lilah banner frantically]

Which sucks. For many reasons.

First of all: straight pairing! Gen! Bad! I'm a slasher and right now I'd rather read Wes/Lilah than Wes/Gunn. [sobs] I feel like one of those women who sleeps with men, but calls herself a lesbian.

Second: ( Wesley and Lilah's future isn't looking too rosy )

which annoys me beyond the telling of it.

On Overgrown Shrubberies

Bush has announced a "National Sanctity of Human Life Day" this Sunday. Putting aside the sheer hypocrisy of the matter, given the man's willingness to execute criminals and wage war, it is absolutely terrifying to me to see this kind of move from the man who controls the appointment of Supreme Court judges.

So, this Sunday, January 19th, to celebrate Mr. Bush's National Sanctity of Human Life Day, I will be making a donation to Planned Parenthood and forwarding my donation confirmation e-mail to president@whitehouse.gov.
