(no subject)

I would just like to say that as much as I love AtS, I did not need to live in an abandoned hotel this summer. Life imitates fandom, I guess.

I just hope that I don't find myself working at an evil law firm next...

The Name Game

I think I'm usually pretty clear about my name for people:

"There is no 'r'."
"Nope, no 'r'."
"Yes, it's only five letters."
"Really, there's no 'r'."

But perhaps I'm being too clear about that, and it doesn't allow people to focus on the letters that actually are there. Because recently, I seem to have about a 50/50 chance of having the first "a" changed to an "o".

Come on now, people, it's only five letters. Why is this so hard??

You know, forget about that first lj entry about the origin of my pseud. I've decided the real reason I go by "Taffy" in fandom is that no one misspells it!
