Nov. 28th, 2003 11:01 amWell, the movers are confirmed, my mattress is getting delivered tomorrow, I have my cashier's checks for the move in costs, I'm 95% packed, I have appointments with the cable and internet people to set up service on Tuesday, and I've finished everything at work except for the budget book, which can be done in just a few hours.
All that's left is just a tiny bit of packing, a lot of cleaning, and furniture shopping. Yes, furniture shopping. A sad side effect of my career to this point has been that I've lived in furnished apartments since I graduated.
As a result, the only furniture I own is a bookcase. Which is really sad, when you consider that my cats have rugs, beds, and a tree! Yes, my cats have more furniture than I do.
I'm more than a little excited about living in DC again! As of Monday afternoon I'll be home in my city!
Anyway, off to furniture shop I go.
