Work = hell
Feb. 10th, 2005 01:48 amI'm still at work and nowhere near done with the project I'm working on. I'm trying to decide whether to give up on going home tonight, and take a quick nap on the couch so that I can finish the project in a few hours.
It's strange, I can usually work long hours and maintain an insane travel schedule and still be happy about my job, but for some reason tonight I've been on the verge of tears for the last few hours. (Which is the reason for this quick sanity break to post.) I think it's probably just the realization that with the start of the post-budget season, I'm back to the 18 hour workday as a standard.
In any case ... *waves to all of you* ... please be forgiving if I disappear over the next month or so. I promise I'll try to keep these whiny posts to a minimum.
Hmm, maybe we can turn it into a game! I can post when I leave work each night and take bets on what the next night's time will be. Winner gets a box of chocolates at ConneXions?!
