As signs go ...

The two things that broke during my move were my bed and a coaster from my ceramic set, the "love" one. I don't think that this ia a good omen for my love life.

Ah, the innocence of youth!

Last weekend slashmommy came over to help me put together furniture. Her three-year-old daughter came with her, and immediately found the bin of stuffed animals and toys.

She quickly found a set of Voyager action figures: Tom, Chakotay, and Harry, all in drag (Barbie's individual sale outfits make very good drag-wear.) Being an easy-going child, she's not at all phased by this, and starts undressing them and switching around their outfits happily. The next thing we know she has Chakotay and Harry in an intense argument over a rhinestoned leopard print belt.

She's definitely her mother's child.
