I am now dead from the cuteness
Oct. 15th, 2005 11:35 pmThis morning
slashmommy, her three-year-old and I were walking back from getting lunch, and I went to cross the street to head back to the car (trying to be subtle about it to avoid the no-Taffy-don't-leave routine from the kiddo), and I hear, "TAFFY, NO!" And before I know it I have a three-year-old chasing after me into the street. I quickly grab her hand and get her back to the sidewalk, and she immediately starts in on me: "Taffy, no going into the street by yourself! Promise me!"
Yeah, she's adorable. Even when she's inspiring heart attacks.
I spent the afternoon volunteering as a handler for a dog rescue adoption fair, and was given the sweetest dog to work with. She was a six-month-old shepherd mix, and was completely sweet, very calm, and super affectionate. Not only did she get adopted, but she was so sweet that I got two very serious inquiries about her while her new mommy and daddy were filling out their paperwork, so I took each of them to see her two sisters, and they both got homes as well! So much fun, and exactly what I needed.
