Yesterday I went to see "Juno" with my mom and afterwards we out went for Chinese. It was xmas and we're Jewish, it was kind of required.

"Juno" was wonderful. It was witty and different and touching. But it was touching in a real way, not in a schmaltzy way. I'd highly recommend it.

I spent some time at home and there was Drama. I may talk about it later. Or maybe not.

Hee! Yeah, the theater was packed with Jews. I felt like we should have davened mincha after the show.

mabfan and I saw a movie on Monday night, as well ("Charlie Wilson's War," also very well done and very enjoyable), and I made the comment walking in that if we'd said "Tenth for a minyan?" in the ticket queue, we'd have a ma'ariv minyan in minutes. :-)
