Well of course. Anyone would know this.

I actually did see some kind of poll that a professor did on Btvs/Angel. He did all kinds of cross-referencing and such. I don't think he did slash, but he did do favorite character. Guess who won? Good ole' Wes and Spike ended in a virtual tie. Or at least that's how my brain remembers it. Angel and Buffy were down the line somewhere.
