Method: Post job on monster, sort responses, phone screen, interview no more than three finalists in person.

Issue: HUGE number of responses, teeny number of qualified responses, cell phone not working in this area for phone screens.

Yep, still alive! Annoyed by trying to work on this project, though ... I have tons of stuff to do in NYC, but our travel budget's been slashed, and thus I cannot afford the $200/night hotel stays.

Which means trying to do NYC work from DC, which is difficult.

Probably that some of the staff were using the opportunity to scam free shopping time in NYC. Which, to be fair, the interior designers were doing. *sigh*

*hugs* If he's interested, that would be lovely. But since it's an AA job, the "smart and college educated" usually have salary requirements that are outside our range.

Right now he's working retail and about ready to kill someone. Probably a manager, but possibly a customer.
