taffimaiI spent today taking advantage of my last business trip to NYC. I arrived a day early and went to see a matinee of Company. It was marvelous. Just incredible. If Raul Esparza doesn't win the Tony for that performance, there is no justice. If you visit or live in or around NYC, go see it. Seriously.
Afterwards I decided to swing by the TKTS booth and see if there were any cheap tickets available for Avenue Q, and I managed to get an absolutely terrible seat for a wonderful price. So I spent a while browsing the Virgin Megastore and grabbed a quick bite to eat and headed out to Avenue Q. It was very cute and funny, but I'm afraid it didn't exactly stand up to Company.
Now I'm back in the apartment snacking on good cheese and diet soda. Possibly close to a perfect day.
