I wanted some icons showing my support for Israel, so I made these. They read "עַם יִשְׂרָאֵל חַי" which means "The nation of Israel lives." They are shareable, so feel free to grab one if you like. There is an article on the graffiti used here.

ETA: "The nation of Israel lives" is a literal translation. The phrase can be translated more colloquially as "The Jewish people live." Which kind of says it all, doesn't it?

Date: 2009-01-18 10:57 am (UTC)I'm sure it is. I can't imagine being English without there being an England, even if I never lived there. To the people of a nation which has survived the loss of it's homeland, and retained their identity through such a long period of time, I'm sure it's even more true.
